Core YDAC services include:

• Communication group programs for adults with aphasia or other acquired communication disorders. These are long-term, community-based programs, with communication and psycho-social components, designed by professional staff. Communication programs are offered at 7 sites across York Region and Durham Region.
• Caregiver support for caregivers and family members of YDAC clients. Monthly caregiver groups are offered at specified program sites only. However, YDAC program staff are available at all program sites to consult with family members of clients.
